my recent holiday in the land of Wal-Mart,Krispy-Kreme doughnuts and Bagels was just what i needed...it gave me a breath of fresh air...and the adrenaline rush that i wasn't really looking for, but happy to have...

the journey didn't take as long as how i remembered it 12 years ago. 14 hours? that's not so bad is it? and this time around, i'm travelling with a 3-year old kid who kept wanting to go to the loo (even for no 2)...plus other additional activities like feeding him, putting on his diaper when he goes to sleep (he's still not toilet-trained for sleeping time). but that's what made the journey less long and boring...
