I've been tagged by my 2nd cuz nana, and i'm going to try to do this really quick because yeah, as per my previous post, things are still pretty much in a mumbo jumbo!!

but here goes anyway!

REQUIREMENTS : Write about what or how or why you gave the name(s) to your kid(s). QUANTITY: 5 people TAG MODE: Firstly you leave their blog and post link and add to the list below and secondly you let the blogger you want to tag know that he/she has been tagged by commenting in his/her blog or etc

My first born's name is Muhammad Nazim Kayani. yeah, pretty long right..well, it was going to be longer (Muhammad Nazim Bahauddin Kayani) or a shorter one Muhammad Akil Kayani..but in the end, we settled for MNK. :) which by the way means "poet" for Nazim, that is..Kayani is just a family name, of Pakistani origin. And Muhammad, after our beloved prophet (SAW). Why Nazim? it's actually both our idea. we love the name and wanted to name our first son with the same name of a great shaykh. so there it is!

Our second baby is a girl named Aishah Karima Kayani..yeah, looks like our kids are all going to have three names :). Hubby has always wanted the name Aishah for a girl. but we didn't really decide until the day that we were supposed to register for her..it was between Aishah or Aida...Karima, was given by a great awliya, and we fell in love with the name. for some people, having it as a middlename may not get as much attention. but that's certainly not true in Aishah's case..as i've been calling her and so has everyone who knows aishah by her full name..Aishah Karima. and by his brother, Aishah Karima Noni Noni..(hahah) actually that noni noni part was coined by me..but nazim still thinks its her real name.

so there goes..i would like to tag anyone who has a kid or kids and want to share how you got that bright idea to name your kids what they are called today!

peace
